Baby shoes question?

My 9 month old is very close to walking. I want to buy her some really good shoes and have no idea of where to go. I live in a remote area so my best bet is to shop online. Any ideas or advice?

Baby shoes question?
Stride rite has great walking shoes. although i have grown very fond of the new soft sole shoes. my son is 10 months and is walking. and he loves them. they are so easy for him to walk in as they arent big and easy to trip over. i also love paylesses chubbies. i can send you links to all the above if you would like. send me an email.

Reply:My sister used only Robeez for my neice. They are adorable. A little bit expensive, but she says they were more than worth it. www.robeez.com

Reply:I use to buy my son Stride Rite. Best shoes for a baby!http://www.striderite.com/jump.jsp?itemI...

Reply:My son only wore Stride Rite. The shoes need to be flexible. You should be able to take your thumb at one end and the rest of your fingers at the other end and bend the shoe in half. If you can%26#039;t do this with one hand the shoe is not flexible enough. Stride Rite is a little expensive, but you can probably find sales or sign up for their emails and they will send you coupons sometimes. You might try ebay also.
Reply:Stride rite is good, but only put shoes on her when she will be walking outside. Kids feet need to develop without shoes on all the time.
Reply:i would go to walmart... Kids grow out of shoes so fast you don%26#039;t want to spend a ton on shoes that there only gonna were a month or two!!
Reply:walmart or babies toys r us
Reply:Nike.com . They have other selections that you wouldn%26#039;t think of. Congrats on the new baby!

Reply:STRIDE RITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The absolute BEST children%26#039;s shoe. Start out with their basic white walking shoe. My mom bought them for me ages ago and all of my kids wore them for their first couple of years of life. They cost a few pennies but feet are VERY important, hence, deserve a good shoe.

Do NOT skimp on your baby%26#039;s shoes. If need be, buy less expensive clothing and spend your money on the shoes.

Stride Rite. The ONLY way to go :)

I bought my 3 kids whatever was on sale.
Reply:Any hard soled shoes that fit properly work.
Reply:I would start with Stride Rite or Nordstrom.

stride rite has awesome shoes that cater to kids feet (http://www.striderite.com). I am not sure how much they sell online because we have a store here and my kid is 7 now.

There are also many good brands out there such as Hush Puppies, Merrill, Teva that make good kids shoes.
Reply:I lived in a remote area with my first (1 1/2 hours from a grocery store and 2 1/2 hours from a shopping area)

I bought him a pair of Leather Adidas for his first shoes (at the store so I could get him fitted).

Since I knew the size, I bought the same shoe (just different colored stripes each time) in the next size up whenever he outgrew his shoe. (I could then buy on-line without having to worry about trying them on).

I always bought the next pair before he outgrew his, so I would have them on hand.
Reply:yes go to shoe show or shoe departement. it is better to let him wear T-shoe like nike or puma .u can find them any where in the mall.
Reply:Stride Rite has great walking shoes. These are what I used for the first couple of years for each of my babies. However, for proper foot development it is best to let them learn barefoot. Our doctor said bare feet help with proper arch formation and shoes can ruin them or cause them to be flat footed.
Reply:My older son did really well with New Balance. My younger son is only a year old now and we%26#039;re doing with him like we did with my older son...no shoes until they can walk alone without falling and until they walk outside. Babies don%26#039;t really need shoes to walk around inside on the carpet.
Reply:I just found a site at Macy%26#039;s for baby%26#039;s shoes. they are soooooooo cute click the link below
Reply:your best bet is to go to the store to hade baby fitted properly width and size are both important..I have to say stride rite the little white walkers great shoes..
Reply:Always look for discounts and start with a soft sole shoe.

Reply:A 9-month old. What a blessing! I wouldn%26#039;t get her any shoes yet, especially if she%26#039;s just learning to walk. I know this from experience after 4 kids and 2 grand kids. A barefoot baby is more surefooted, and can better flex her cute little toes. Also, especially this time of year, do you really think she needs shoes? I%26#039;d check with your pediatrician, but I think she%26#039;ll do fine without them.

As far as when you all are away from home and baby needs shoes, believe it or not, any decent shoe store is just fine. Best of luck to you both.
Reply:my daugher is 10 i too am looking for a gud shoes... cudn%26#039;t find one yet! as soon as i%26#039;ve found out i shall surely let u know :) have u seen in babaies%26#039;r us??
Reply:they say that walking barefoot is better when they just start to walk. when you look for shoes so young they should be soft so that the baby%26#039;s feet can move .
Reply:She really doesn%26#039;t need shoes, her arches will develop better if she isn%26#039;t wearing anything. But when it gets cold and she needs shoes to keep her feet warm, look for something with a soft, flexible sole. Robeez are very good. They stay on and are mulit-sized she she won%26#039;t grow out of them quickly. Plus, they are adorable.
